What is Yoga Medicine's cancellation & refund policy?

Learn more about our cancellation and refund policies for trainings, courses, and memberships.

Please see below for our cancellation and refund policies regarding all Yoga Medicine products:


Online Training/Course:

  • As mentioned on the training or course page under our Cancellation/Refunds Policy section:
    • Immediately after your payment is processed, you will receive access to the training/course online portal and materials. For this reason, refund requests for online trainings/courses are not accepted (unless otherwise specified for individual online trainings/courses).
    • We appreciate your understanding that this policy is for all.
In-Person Training/Event:
  • As mentioned on the training page under our Cancellation/Refunds Policy section:
    • The deposit payment is always non-refundable and non-transferable.
    • There are no refunds or transfers of payments after the final payment date due to the fact that we are required to make payments to reserve your reservation at the retreat center and secure training materials for the group. We realize that some extenuating circumstances beyond your control may prohibit you from attending; however, we cannot make exceptions regardless of the circumstance due to the non-recoverable payments that we deliver in advance. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance which covers refunds due to medical emergencies and other difficult circumstances.

YMO Subscription:
  • As mentioned on the terms & conditions agreed upon when signing up for a YMO subscription:
    • YMO may offer a free trial membership in order to use YMO without a financial commitment, though this is contingent on YMO’s receipt of your billing information. YMO will not give notice of the impending expiration of a free trial period, and billing will begin promptly upon its expiration. You may terminate your subscription at any time, though YMO may not reimburse you for any prepaid subscription fees.  

Apparel:

  • Apparel exchanges are returns are accepted, but the customer must cover all shipping costs throughout the process.
    • Exchange: The customer pays for shipping costs to return the apparel item(s) AND ship the new apparel item(s). The customer will also pay the difference in price if the new apparel item(s) cost more than what they originally paid or they will get a refund for the difference in price if the new apparel item(s) cost less than what they originally paid.
    • Return: The customer pays for shipping costs to return the apparel item(s). Once received by Yoga Medicine, the customer will get a refund for only the apparel item they returned (no shipping costs incurred or Yoga Medicine® Seva Foundation donations will be refunded if applicable).

Multiple Orders for the Same Product:
  • If a customer places 2+ orders for the same product, Yoga Medicine will issue a refund for the multiple orders placed.
