Here are some quick tips to get any YM videos to load properly.
We apologize for any inconvenience you are experiencing. Our videos are streamed via Vimeo, so the playback of videos has nothing to do with the Yoga Medicine website. The website only houses the Vimeo embed codes for each video. But playback and functionality is all handled via Vimeo’s servers, and if there are playback issues it's usually due to a user’s location, their network connection, or Vimeo servers are down; all of which we unfortunately have no control over.
Troubleshooting playback/buffering issues can be quite difficult when information is being relayed between multiple parties due to the broad number of potential variables. Typically, this just means there is a lull in the system as technology can have some lagging issues sometimes.
So our recommendation is to:
- logout
- clear your cache
- close your browser/app
- restart your device
- log back in
- make sure you have a stable internet connection
- attempt to access the classes
- lower the resolution of the video using the quality selector (720p or 480p)
Sometimes if you open a page in a new tab, the system will think that you logged out. So 1) be sure you're logged in when trying to access videos and 2) perhaps avoid opening in a new tab.
Also make sure you have access to Vimeo, which is our video streaming platform. Vimeo is restricted in some locations/countries - so please make sure you have access to Vimeo since this is where all of our videos are streamed through.
If you continue to have trouble, the most efficient way of resolving the issue would be to contact Vimeo directly. We would highly recommend doing this so you have direct contact with the playback service where the issues may be coming from.
